Breakfast is included in the following prices. Lunch & dinner are offered by request (usually self-cooking, sometimes romantic chef-prepared dinners in the field).
Option 1: Bring your own tent: $35/night/2-person tent.
Option 2: Share your cabana (youth hostel style): $55/night/person
Option 3: Enjoy your private cabana/Treehouse: double occupancy $125 (every additional person: $30 extra)/night. Private cabanas can be booked by 2 to 4 people.s = single bed, db = double bed

Stay for a few nights or a week. Volunteer in the fields and gardens; feed the chickens and the rabbits; stroll the property or hike to beautiful Annaly Bay, Sunset Beach, and the Danish sugar mills; visit historic Frederiksted, Christiansted, and the rest of St. Croix for a cultural and scenic island experience; or just relax knowing that your time here is helping to make this small fragile piece of the world a more sustainable place.
What to Bring?
Before you hit the plane, here’s a checklist of some things (or “tings” in Cruzan creole) you might want to bring with you for stay at VISFI, whether it’s one night or 10 months!
- passport (NO PASSPORT REQUIRED for US CITIZENS – Gov’t issued ID; contact airlines for details)
- pillow (we can provide sheets and pillow case at no additional charge)
- closed cell or inflatable sleeping pad and tent (only if tent camping)
- herbal bug spray
- sun screen
- skin care cream or lotion
- sun hat
- sun glasses
- water bottle (s)
- camera
- beach towel
- bath towel, shampoo, soap, etc.
- flashlight (headlamp) and candles
- spending cash (most places only take cash)
- knife (optional, check in baggage)
- snorkel & mask (optional)
- mountain bicycle for extended stays

- journal for recording your time at VISFI!
