Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
We offer two forms of CSA at Ridge to Reef Farm.
- THE CSA One is an innovative per-season weekly buy-in share system produce drop that we call “The CSA.” This is the second year offering The CSA from Ridge to Reef Farm! Sign up now for the Spring/Summer Season starting May 30th.
- Our current pick-up locations:
- Frederiksted – Polly’s at the Pier
Wednesday, 3:30pm – 5:30pm– Havensight, Barefoot Bhudda, St. Thomas
Thursday, 11:30 – 1:30pm– Christiansted, Miriam’s, St. Croix
Sunday, 4:00 – 5:30
- ”WHAT IS A CSA?” Neighbors buy a share in the farm’s season and during that season (ours is 12 weeks) members get a box of produce every week. It is a way for a community to empower it’s local food system with a regular and shared-risk approach. Here is a great description: https://www.biodynamics.com/csa.html
- VI LOCALLY GROWN The other is an annual membership in our VI Locally Grown web-based purchase system, which also features other farmers and local craft producers.
Guest Chef Slow Down Dinner
“Fast Food” feeds millions, but it is “Slow Food” that nourishes the body and soul. This nurturing earth-friendly cuisine, mixed with a heaping helping of eco-sustainability and cultural preservation, is what the Slow Down dinners at St. Croix’s Ridge to Reef Farm are all about.
